Decorative Ceremonial Box

I was commissioned this summer to create a decorative ceremonial box to commemorate the transfer of archived data.

The data was related to work done in the Mayan city of Tikal so the client wanted to use an image related to the city.

The box was designed to house the data by holding it in the form of a flash drive cushioned in a foam insert. Both the box and foam insert were cut and etched with a laser cutter.
